Description
A remote, unauthenticated privilege escalation in ibi WebFOCUS allows an attacker to gain administrative access to the application which may lead to unauthenticated Remote Code Execution
A remote, unauthenticated privilege escalation vulnerability has been identified in TIBCO ibi WebFOCUS versions 9.1.3 and earlier, as well as 9.2.2 and earlier. This vulnerability allows an attacker to bypass authentication, gain administrative access to the application, and potentially execute code remotely without authorization. The issue arises in the SOAP Log on component, which is enabled by default.
Users are advised to upgrade to WebFOCUS version 9.1.4 or 9.2.3 or higher. TIBCO encourages all customers to move to the 9.3.x series and be on the latest release.
