Description
Improper access control in permissions component in Devolutions Server 2025.1.10.0 and earlier allows an authenticated user to bypass the "Edit permission" permission by bypassing the client side validation.
A vulnerability exists in the permissions component of Devolutions Server in versions through 2025.1.10.0. This issue allows an authenticated user to bypass the 'Edit permission' requirement by evading client-side validation. As a result, users could manipulate permissions without proper authorization.
Users are advised to upgrade to Devolutions Server version 2025.2.2.0 or higher.
