Description
A denial-of-service (DoS) vulnerability in Palo Alto Networks Prisma® SD-WAN ION devices enables an unauthenticated attacker in a network adjacent to a Prisma SD-WAN ION device to disrupt the packet processing capabilities of the device by sending a burst of crafted packets to that device.
A denial-of-service vulnerability has been identified in Palo Alto Networks Prisma SD-WAN ION devices. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker in a network adjacent to the affected device to disrupt its packet processing capabilities. The issue arises from the attacker sending a burst of crafted packets, which overwhelms the device and interferes with normal operations.
Users of Prisma SD-WAN versions 6.5, 6.4, 6.3, 6.1, and 5.6 should upgrade to the latest recommended versions. Version 6.2 will reach its end-of-life date on May 4, 2025, and version 5.6 will end on June 1, 2025.
