Description
In onResult of AccountManagerService.java, there is a possible way to overwrite auth token due to a missing permission check. This could lead to local information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
A vulnerability in the AccountManagerService component of Android has been identified, allowing for the unauthorized overwriting of authentication tokens. This issue arises from a lack of proper permission checks, which could lead to local information disclosure. The vulnerability does not require any additional execution privileges or user interaction to exploit.
Users can update their devices to the March 2025 security patch level to address this vulnerability. Instructions for checking and updating the Android version are available on the Google Support website.
