Description
The Post Grid, Posts Slider, Posts Carousel, Post Filter, Post Masonry WordPress plugin before 2.2.93 does not validate and escape some of its block options before outputting them back in a page/post where the block is embed, which could allow users with the contributor role and above to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Post Grid WordPress plugin, specifically in versions prior to 2.2.93. The issue arises because the plugin fails to properly validate and escape certain block options before rendering them on a page or post. This flaw enables users with contributor roles and above to inject malicious scripts that are stored and executed later.
