Description
The Page Builder: Pagelayer WordPress plugin before 1.8.8 does not sanitise and escape some of its settings, which could allow high privilege users such as admin to perform Cross-Site Scripting attacks even when unfiltered_html is disallowed
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Page Builder: Pagelayer WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 1.8.8. The issue arises because the plugin fails to properly sanitize and escape certain settings. This flaw enables high-privilege users, such as administrators, to execute cross-site scripting attacks, even when unfiltered HTML is not allowed.
Users are advised to update the Page Builder: Pagelayer WordPress plugin to version 1.8.8 or later.
