Description
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mailbox: th1520: Fix a NULL vs IS_ERR() bug The devm_ioremap() function doesn't return error pointers, it returns NULL. Update the error checking to match.
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's mailbox subsystem for the TH1520 component has been addressed. The issue was related to improper error handling in the devm_ioremap() function, which returns NULL instead of error pointers. The vulnerability allowed for a NULL pointer dereference, which could lead to a denial-of-service condition by causing a crash when the NULL pointer was accessed.
