Description
Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in BU Web Team BU Section Editing bu-section-editing allows Reflected XSS.This issue affects BU Section Editing: from n/a through <= 0.9.9.
A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the WordPress BU Section Editing plugin, affecting versions through 0.9.9. This issue allows for improper neutralization of input during web page generation, which could be exploited to inject malicious scripts that are executed when users visit the affected page.
Users of the BU Section Editing WordPress plugin are advised to update to version 0.9.9 or later. For those unable to update immediately, Patchstack offers a virtual patch that can be applied to mitigate the vulnerability.
