Description
Cacti is an open source performance and fault management framework. Cacti has a SQL injection vulnerability in the template function of host_templates.php using the graph_template parameter. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.2.29.
A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in Cacti versions 1.2.28 and prior, within the template function of host_templates.php. The issue arises when the graph_template parameter is used, as it is not properly sanitized before being included in an SQL query. This vulnerability allows for arbitrary SQL injection, which could be exploited to manipulate database queries and potentially access or modify sensitive data.
Users can upgrade to Cacti version 1.2.29 or later, where this vulnerability has been patched.
