Description
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: xilinx: xdma: Fix data synchronisation in xdma_channel_isr() Requests the vchan lock before using xdma->stop_request.
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's DMA engine for Xilinx XDMA has been addressed. The issue was related to improper data synchronization in the interrupt service routine for XDMA channels. The vulnerability required the virtual channel lock to be acquired before accessing the stop request, preventing potential race conditions.
Users can upgrade to the latest version of the Linux kernel where this vulnerability has been fixed. The specific commit addressing this issue is available in the Linux kernel stable tree.
