Description
A race condition was addressed with additional validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.1. An app may be able to break out of its sandbox.
A race condition vulnerability has been identified in the LaunchServices component of Apple macOS Sequoia. This issue allows an application to break out of its sandbox, potentially leading to unauthorized access or actions within the system. The vulnerability was addressed in macOS Sequoia 15.1, released on October 28, 2024.
Users can upgrade to macOS Sequoia 15.1 to address this vulnerability.
