Description
Cross Site Scripting vulnerability in Greek Universities Network (GUnet) Open eClass Platform v.3.15 allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via the last name, first name, and username parameters in the user registration functionality.
A cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Greek Universities Network (GUnet) Open eClass Platform version 3.15. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by injecting malicious scripts into the last name, first name, and username fields during user registration. The injected scripts are executed later when administrators search for or list users.
To address this vulnerability, it is recommended to sanitize and encode user input in the registration fields before storing it and when displaying it. This will help prevent the execution of injected scripts.
