Description
A DLL hijacking vulnerability in AMD StoreMI™ could allow an attacker to achieve privilege escalation, potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution.
A DLL hijacking vulnerability has been identified in AMD StoreMI, which could enable an attacker to escalate privileges, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution. This vulnerability arises from incorrect handling of dynamic link libraries, allowing maliciously crafted DLLs to be loaded by the application with elevated rights.
Users are advised to discontinue use and uninstall AMD StoreMI, as the application is no longer supported or offered by AMD.
