Description
The Stream plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.2 due to insufficient validation on the webhook feature. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to make web requests to arbitrary locations originating from the web application which can be used to query and modify information from internal services.
A Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability has been identified in the Stream plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 4.0.2. The vulnerability arises from inadequate validation in the webhook feature, allowing authenticated attackers with administrator-level access to send web requests to arbitrary locations. This could be exploited to query and modify information from internal services.
Users are advised to update the Stream plugin to version 4.1.0 or later.
