Description
The The Contact Form & SMTP Plugin for WordPress by PirateForms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 2.6.0. This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes.
A vulnerability allowing arbitrary shortcode execution has been identified in the Contact Form & SMTP Plugin for WordPress by PirateForms, affecting all versions through 2.6.0. The issue arises because the plugin allows users to execute actions without proper validation, enabling unauthenticated attackers to run arbitrary shortcodes.
Users are advised to update the plugin to version 2.6.1 or later.
