Description
Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection') vulnerability in CM Informatics CM News allows SQL Injection. This issue affects CM News: through 6.0. NOTE: The vendor was contacted and it was learned that the product is not supported.
A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in CM Informatics CM News versions through 6.0. This vulnerability arises from improper neutralization of special elements used in SQL commands, allowing attackers to manipulate SQL queries and potentially access or modify database information.
CM Informatics has discontinued support for the CM News product. Users and system administrators are advised to switch to an alternative software.
