Description
The Contact Form & SMTP Plugin for WordPress by PirateForms WordPress plugin before 2.6.0 does not sanitise and escape some of its settings, which could allow high privilege users such as admin to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks even when the unfiltered_html capability is disallowed (for example in multisite setup).
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Contact Form & SMTP Plugin for WordPress by PirateForms, affecting versions prior to 2.6.0. The issue arises because the plugin fails to properly sanitize and escape certain settings. This flaw enables high-privilege users, such as administrators, to execute stored cross-site scripting attacks, even in environments where the unfiltered_html capability is restricted, such as multisite setups.
Users are advised to update the Contact Form & SMTP Plugin for WordPress by PirateForms to version 2.6.0 or later.
