Description
Stack-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in libmodbus v3.1.10 allows to overflow the buffer allocated for the Modbus response if the function tries to reply to a Modbus request with an unexpected length.
A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in libmodbus version 3.1.10. This vulnerability occurs when the library attempts to respond to a Modbus request with an unexpected length, leading to an overflow of the buffer allocated for the Modbus response.
Users are advised to update libmodbus to version 3.1.11.
