Description
Nagios XI versions prior to < 2024R1.0.2 are vulnerable to cross-site scripting (XSS) via the Nagios Core Command Expansion page. Insufficient validation or escaping of user-supplied input may allow an attacker to inject and execute arbitrary script in the context of a victim's browser.
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in Nagios XI versions prior to 2024R1.0.2. The issue arises from insufficient validation or escaping of user-supplied input on the Nagios Core Command Expansion page, allowing attackers to inject and execute arbitrary scripts in the context of the victim's browser.
Users are advised to upgrade to Nagios XI version 2024R1.0.2 or later.
