Description
The Add SVG Support for Media Uploader | inventivo WordPress plugin through 1.0.5 does not sanitize uploaded SVG files, which could allow users with a role as low as Author to upload a malicious SVG containing XSS payloads.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Add SVG Support for Media Uploader WordPress plugin, versions through 1.0.5. The issue arises because the plugin fails to properly sanitize uploaded SVG files, allowing users with at least Author roles to upload malicious SVGs containing XSS payloads.
