Call v4l2_ctrl_handler_free() to free the v412_ctrl.
A memory leak vulnerability has been identified in the Linux kernel's MAX9286 driver, specifically within the V4L2 registration function. When the function 'max9286_v4l2_register()' is called, it creates a new V4L2 control but fails to release it if an endpoint retrieval error occurs. This oversight leads to unfreed memory, which can be detected by the kernel's memory leak tracking system.
The vulnerability has been addressed in the Linux kernel. Users can apply the latest patches available in the Linux kernel stable tree to mitigate this issue.
