Description
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mt76: mt7915: fix memory leak in mt7915_mcu_exit Always purge mcu skb queues in mt7915_mcu_exit routine even if mt7915_firmware_state fails.
A memory leak vulnerability has been addressed in the Linux kernel's Wi-Fi MT76 MT7915 driver. The issue arose in the 'mt7915_mcu_exit' function, where the MCU SKB queues were not properly cleared if the firmware state check failed. This vulnerability affects the Linux kernel stable tree.
Users can apply the latest patches available in the Linux kernel stable tree to address this vulnerability.
