CVE-2022-1436 Details
Description
The WPCargo Track & Trace WordPress plugin before 6.9.5 does not sanitise and escape the wpcargo_tracking_number parameter before outputting it back in the page, which could allow attackers to perform reflected Cross-Site Scripting attacks.
A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the WPCargo Track & Trace WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 6.9.5. The issue arises because the plugin fails to properly sanitize and escape the 'wpcargo_tracking_number' parameter before displaying it on the page. This oversight could enable attackers to inject malicious scripts that are executed in the context of the user's browser.
Users are advised to update the WPCargo Track & Trace WordPress plugin to version 6.9.5 or later.
