Description
Nagios XI versions prior to 5.7.3 are vulnerable to cross-site scripting (XSS) via the Manage Users page of the Admin interface. Insufficient validation or escaping of user-supplied input may allow an attacker to inject and execute arbitrary script in the context of a victim's browser.
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in Nagios XI versions prior to 5.7.3. The issue is located in the Admin interface's Manage Users page, where inadequate validation or escaping of user input allows for the injection and execution of arbitrary scripts in the context of the user's browser.
Users can upgrade to Nagios XI version 5.7.3 or later to address this vulnerability.
