Description
In BnDmAgent::onTransact of dm_agent.cpp, there is a possible out of bounds write due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
A vulnerability allowing local elevation of privilege has been identified in the DmAgent component of Android. This issue arises from an out-of-bounds write caused by a missing bounds check, which could be exploited to gain system execution privileges. The vulnerability does not require user interaction.
Users can update their devices to the June 2018 security patch level to address this vulnerability.
