Description
Equation Editor in Microsoft Office 2007, Microsoft Office 2010, Microsoft Office 2013, and Microsoft Office 2016 allows a remote code execution vulnerability due to the way objects are handled in memory, aka "Microsoft Office Memory Corruption Vulnerability".
A remote code execution vulnerability has been identified in Microsoft Office 2007, 2010, 2013, and 2016. This issue arises in the Equation Editor component, where improper handling of objects in memory creates a memory corruption vulnerability. Exploitation of this vulnerability allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. If the user has administrative rights, the attacker could gain full control of the affected system.
